2022
Free Flow on the Llano
VW Car Show

The "Free Flow on the Llano" Vintage VW show will be held March 12th and 13th, 2022 in conjunction with the Llano Earth Art Festival. The festival takes place on the banks of the beautiful Llano River in Grenwelge Natural Area  just one block from the historic Courthouse Square.  The show runs Saturday and Sunday with festival attendees voting in several categories. Awards will be given Sunday Afternoon at 4pm.

This event is free for festival attendees.  Only VW owners, who are participating in the car show, will need to register and pay.

Pre-registration of $40 includes up to 4 nights of camping on festival grounds, and 2 wristbands good for entry into the festival during its entirety.  This is a $150 value. Space on festival grounds is very limited so be sure to register early.

Camping is primitive and will be next to your VW or in it, whichever you prefer. There are a very limited number of flush toilets with the majority of toilets being nice portables which have inside solar lights. There is limited access to potable water. We will not know if campfires will be allowed until the week before the festival and it will depend on the weather. In previous years small fires have been allowed as long as they were attended at all times and a 5 gallon bucket of water was always near. Generators are not allowed and electricity will not be available. We are planning to have an area for charging phones.

All vintage VWs are welcome to participate.  This is an all weather event and registration fees are not refundable.

If you have any questions about the show, please contact Randy Champ at rachamp222@gmail.com

FYI- Unfortunately, pets are not allowed on the festival grounds, per city order.
